Things take a dramatic twist though, as just as the tournament starts three of the four protagonists suffer tournament-ending injuries and the fourth player misses 3 games due to COVID. Featuring interviews with Spain's Alexia Putellas, France's Marie Antoinette Katoto, Northern Ireland's Simone Magill and Vivianne Miedema of the Netherlands. EQUALS, a six-part documentary series putting viewers one-on-one with some of the top stars in the women's game like never before. The series examines the rapid rise of women's football across Europe as well as the challenges that remain, against the backdrop of a record-breaking UEFA Women's EURO 2022, which captivated audiences the world over.
