Descript: Different Captions for Each Speaker

Learn how to add different captions (fancy captions) for each speaker in your Descript project. If you have a host and a guest on your episode or 2 or more speakers in a video or audio composition, you can assign different captions with different styles and customisations to each one of them. This way, you can visually indicate when each person speaks and show their captions in a different location. For this to work, you need Descript and you need to have transcribed your audio and identified the speakers. If Descript doesn't know who's talking when, it cannot swap the captions using the method shown in this video. This method of showing different captions or subtitles for each speaker is great if you're creating an audiogram or interview fragment or clip and want to indicate when each speaker is talking, separately. This tutorial applies to the "classic" version of Descript, but the procedure should be very similar to the Storyboard version. I'll have a tutorial on that when it comes out officially.
