I really disliked the Realm of Tempered Valor, and many other people did too. Normally I'm all for fighting events — I actually enjoy Genshin's combat, and these are often the highlight of the patch for me, especially when there isn't a new region or a new Archon Quest. While I’m not a whale and I have zero interest in hyper-investing into powerful characters or even following the meta at all, I’ve completed all the content for years — including the Abyss — and even had fun getting platinum medals on most combat events in the past. So why is this event the first one which really got my hackles up, and why do others agree? Did Hoyo do something which actually crossed a line?
