YouTube monetization changes for small channels 2020 Not Paying Creators

Youtube Monetization 2020 Policy Changes, Not Paying Creators My Reaction As A Small Channel. YouTube has made a recent announcement that as of November 18, 2020 to the YouTube Monetization policy for any small YouTube channels that are not part of the YouTube partnership program, which means you have not hit the 1000 subscriber mark and have 4000 watch hours in 12 months, will now potentially have commercials on their content anyway. This does not sound so bad until you realize that you will also not be paid any of the advertising revenue that YouTube make for putting a commercial on your video. The YouTube monetization update can be seen in both a positive and negative angle, having watched both Nick Nimmin and Roberto Blake I thought I would give my reaction to this and how I think this could be a positive for small creators that are not being paid by YouTube for their content. All of the big channels are just looking at the negative angles but what are the positives, could these changes have a positive impact on your small channel, will you be able to get into the YouTube Partnership program more quickly? Well I think you will, but that is just my opinion, I unfortunately do not run the YouTube algorithm nor do I profess to know how it works! But for me using common sense and a business mind, YouTube will only want to put commercials on videos that they deem as successful, they will not want to run ads an videos will low views and low engagement. Also YouTube will want to make sure that consumers see the commercials, as they are making 100% of the money from these commercials, why would YouTube want to put ads on low view videos? Which then makes me inclined to think that if YouTube deems you worthy for an ad, your videos are already doing really well. Which it would then stand to reason that YouTube would want to put your content in front of more people which also stands to reason that you are on the YouTube algorithm radar, which means that you will gain more subscribers and be able to join the YouTube partner program faster. Anyway that is just my opinion, it remains to be seen if I will be proven right or if Roberto Blake or Nick Nimmin will be ultimately right. I like to keep a positive outlook and always focus on the positives to every situation and this is my take on the whole situation.
