Beating both chapters on Hard difficulty unlocks The Road to Revenge trophy. The main focus on Hard difficulty is your materia setup. Make sure to upgrade your weapons to their maximum, this way you will expand their materia slots and gain more power. You can grind a bit at the start of Chapter 2, where you can repeat the 2nd combat simulator challenge for fast AP. This way you can max out your materia and make Hard difficulty somewhat easier. I propose to link Magnify and Healing materia on Yuffie so you can heal both characters with one spell use. HP and MP Up materias are a must, and I really like Time materia so you can cast Haste on both. 0:00 - Setup for upcoming battle 0:45 - Nero 1st phase (Regen + Synergized Windstorm ability. Easy phase, so try not to use a lot of magic here, and stagger him with Windstorm from Yuffie or Swirling Storm from Sonon.
