Capturing Time on Film | Boyhood

Boyhood is one of those movies that will probably always remain in my top ten of all time, but I'd love to hear what you all think! Some things I wasn't able to put in the video: Linklater is very inspired by filmmakers like Robert Bresson and Eric Rohmer, and that shows very much in Boyhood. His framing is very much in line with Bresson, but his tendency to have characters talk in long winded monologues and dialogues is definitely inspired by Rohmer.
