Hi guys, this is Laz here! In today’s video We will talk about working with clients as a graphic designer in the early stages of your design project and about the art of selling logo ideas . Before we jump into it though I wanna state, we are not talking about presenting finished logo concepts to clients – presenting finished work is easy, in my opinion - you can take the ugliest logo in the world, put it onto a sexy, stylish presentation, make good use of photoshop mock-ups, and that’s that. What im talking about here is the art of selling creative ideas – and how to interact with design clients in the earlier stages of your project. I’ve been doing commissioned creative work for about 5 years now and now I feel like I have reached a comfortable position for talking about my experiences working with clients as a designer and giving out some freelance graphic designer tips. I had some great projects in the past, I had some horrible ones too, and in hindsight I realized that there are only 3 key points that, if I keep on mind, they help me with my graphic design presentation and the general client workflow process. They help me to articulate and sell my ideas - Every time.
