Copacabana area is one of the best places for nightlife in Rio de Janeiro. It´s full of bars and clubs, and the street party in the bars in front of the beach very cool! There are 3 ways of enjoying Copacabana: on the kiosks on the sidewalk in front of the beach, parties or clubs or Bars. The kind of bar I recommend in this videos is called by locals as Sujinho or Pe Sujo. So walk around (dont forget to follow the safety tips) and after you decide one bar or club to stay. and the basic safety tips to have fun and to be safe in Copacabana are: cellphone always in your front pocket (not in the back pocket), no gold or necklaces and very important: dont walk in the empty, dark, narrow streets. Stay where the party is! Be closed to more people! If you follow this basic safety tips in Copacabana district, you will be fine and dont forget to save at least 1 night to visit Lapa district!
