Within Raphael’s secret locked vault, you can find the Helldusk Helm, Staff of Spellpower, and Mol’s contract. But did you know above the portrait on the wall there is a portal? Not to be confused with the Outer Portal room which supposedly leads to places like Neverwinter and Waterdeep, this portal is simply called Portal, and unfortunately it is out of reach and there are no boxes in the House of Hope to stack. But if you leave the house of hope and bring boxes, you can stack them to try and get closer to the portal. Users have had different experiences, some leading to loading screens and then game crashes, but as of patch 7, even if you are right next to the Portal it will still tell you that you can’t reach the portal. So for now, this Portal will remain a mystery, but it’s one more thing to keep an eye on perhaps becoming something we can interact with in Patch 8. More than 5 Question from Speak with Dead And next up is how to get more than 5 questions from speak with dead. This isn’t a bug or an exploit, there is actually one NPC who just won’t stop talking, even in death. And that NPC is NAABER. Naaber is an NPC you can find inside Carm’s Garm within Wyrm’s Crossing. He wants to be an adventurer and is trying to decide which class he wants to be, and he has an incredible amount of dialogue. You can actually talk with him about being every single class and you’ll be rewarded for listening to him that long. However, if you use speak with dead on his corpse, he’s somehow still as talkative and you can ask him more than 5 questions because he refuses to be quiet. There’s even a dialogue option during speak with dead asking Naaber how to make this stop. But eventually you do run out of dialogue options and can select “leave”, at which point the narrator comments that his body longs to rest but his spirit doesn’t stop talking, even as he returns to what one can only hope are, and I quote, “the deepest depths of the Hells”. Cazador in Act 1 And next up - did you know Cazador is in Act 1? Cazador will appear in act 1 through a portal that seemingly appears out of thin air. In order to trigger this super rare cutscene, you’ll need to be playing an Astarian Origin playthrough, and take your first long rest after attempting to enter the mountain pass. This cutscene shows that even while Astarian is trying to sleep, Cazador is haunting him - whether it’s actually Cazador communicating to Astarian or it’s just a bad dream, it really shows how much of an effect Cazador has on Astarian, even after being infected with the mind flayer tadpole which freed him of Cazador’s control. Secret Reward for Saving Lakrissa And next up is one of the rarest interactions in Baldur's gate 3. If you talk to Lakrissa who is above Zevlor’s chamber in the Druid’s Grove she’ll bet you that she won’t survive all this. If you take her up on that offer and bet that she will survive - you can actually cash in on that bet in Act 3. You can find Lakrissa waiting tables at the Elfsong Tavern, and if Alfira also survived, you can find both of them on the roof. Not only do you get to enjoy some rare dialogue with Lakrissa, but you also get an inspiration point if you have a Folk Hero background, which Wyll and Minsc have, which is called A Bet is a Bet. Hidden Passage Guarded by Horrors And next up are the hidden horrors on moonrise - and the secret passage they guard. If you travel up the outside of moonrise towers, you’ll eventually run into a group of 3 Winged Horrors. These are unique in that they will talk to you, and you even get some dialogue options to get them to scatter, attack them, or convince them to eat each other. And while this dialogue alone is super rare, considering most players probably miss seeing the path to these winged horrors, if you keep progressing past where you encounter them, you’ll eventually see a wall you can destroy. #bg3 #baldursgate3 #baldursgateiii Toyhouze earns from qualifying purchases.
