Garbage Disposal Using Autonomous Drone

It is my immense pleasure to share my independent study project “Garbage disposal using an autonomous drone”. This project is mainly focused on conceptualization, designing and prototyping a modern, faster and fully autonomous system to dispose of or manage household garbage. It is achieved using an autonomous drone, which is connected to the house trash bin over the internet. This application can be implemented in smart cities where multiple drones can be placed on garbage trucks to pick up multiple trash at the same time in a locality. During the product development stage, I learned how to build, calibrate and control a drone over a telemetry transceiver. Mavlink protocol is used to communicate between the ground control station and the drone. While a secured TCP communication is used to communicate between the internet enabled trash bin and the ground control station of the drone.
