Do you want to save wildlife? Viva!'s new animation focuses on a gorilla and her baby as their home is cruelly stolen away from them. Experience the heart-breaking true story of the wild animals across the world who are clinging onto survival because of our insatiable demand for meat and dairy products. Forests are being cut down to make space for farmed animals' food. Deforestation means wild animals’ homes are being destroyed and without their homes, wild animals die. And without wildlife, WE can't survive. In terms of weight, 60 per cent of the mammals on Earth are livestock, 36 per cent are humans and only four per cent are wild. You can still change the narrative and save wildlife – by going vegan now. ➡️ Find out more about Viva!'s crucial wildlife campaign: https://viva.org.uk/eating-the-earth ➡️ Go vegan today: https://viva.org.uk/going-vegan #gorillas #gorillaadvert #viva #charity #environment #environmentadvert #vivagorillaadvert #gorillaanimation #eatingtheearth #animation TRANSCRIPT: Let me tell you a story. A true story, about animals. I love animals. Me too. Once upon a time there were millions of wildanimals, in every colour and design. But one by one they faced extinction. Like the dinosaurs? Yes. But it wasn’t an asteroid that threatened the wildlife, it was meat and milkshakes. How? Well, all of our meaty and milky things come from farmed animals … billions and billions of them. And they are all very hungry. People eat so much meat, there’s not enough land to grow the farmed animals’ food. So, forests are chopped down to make space. And, without their homes, wild animals die. Is it a happy ending? The story hasn’t ended yet. But without wildlife we can’t survive. (Boy cheers)
