Since the invasion of Russia to Ukraine, the US has been supporting the army and many subsidies to the Ukraine. However, we have seen beefs and fights during the February meeting face to face between Donald Trump and Zelensky things didn’t go as planned as Zelensky tries to have logical talks with the US while Donald Trump blame Ukraine for having the war. In April, they faced off again but this time they actually sat down and had a peaceful discussion on how the war is going to end with the act of Russia still sending missiles and not stopping the invasion of Ukraine. Donald believes Putin is just tapping him along to have the war going and Trump actually starts seeing how Ukraine would see the war as something that has to end quickly. This led to the signing of an agreement between the US and Ukraine for the exploitation of energy and minerals from the US to support Ukraine with the post war construction. Ukraine is actually a country with many minerals and resources in its territory however, because of the ongoing war, they have used much of the mineral as an occupation to survive and fight off against Russia. They are exhausted from the fights and war against Russia. This makes them turn to the US and request, negotiate for any assistance in mineral support. The deal said by Trump was something to actually support Ukraine in the post war and recovery from all the fighting and damage received by Russia. I believe the US has started looking into this war because of the trade war going on with China as well. US companies have suffered from high tariffs set by the US to China and right now the components of production are rising in price. The US will need to look into their budget cutting more spending by looking at the consumer sentiment. With high interest still, they might have a hard time making the consumer spend more to keep the economy going.
