Paratha is a famous food in all over India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Here are the details of Paratha recipe that is common in Bangladesh. This Bangladeshi Paratha recipe is very easy to made and very delicious. Steps: Making Dough 1. Add 2 cup flour in a bowl. 2. Add ½ teaspoon salt. 3. Add 1 tablespoon of oil. 4. Add ¾ cup of water and mix well. 5. Knead well to make smooth dough. 6. If additional water needed, add that to make smooth dough. 7. Make sure dough is medium soft and not sticky. 8. Cover with a food wrapper in keep aside for at least 2 hours. 9. Uncover the dough and knead for another minute to make it much smooth. Making Paratha 1. Mix oil & salt with flour well. Add water in flour to make dough. Knead well and add more water if needed to make a perfect dough. Dough shouldn’t be sticky and much soft, it should be medium soft. 2. Brush little bit of oil outside of the dough. Keep the dough aside for at least 2 hours covered with wrapping paper. It will make the dough softer. 3. Take the dough out of wrapping paper and knead well to make it smooth. 4. Make the dough equal 6 pieces. 5. Take one piece of dough, make round flatten chapati/roti with rolling pin at least 6-inch diameter. Brush oil on top the roti and make squire shape as shown in the video. 6. Roll the paratha well to make around 6 inch in each side. 7. Preheat a skillet with medium heat, put paratha on it. When the bottom part starts to dry (in 10-15 seconds), turn the paratha over. Once it starts to puff, pour 1 tablespoon of oil on the pan and stir to go under the paratha well. Once bottom part is nicely cooked, turn over it and add ½ tablespoon of oil and stir the paratha well. Fry by turning over so that each part is golden and crispy outside.
