Carroll Stevens is the Senior Vice President at Cambridge Education, a global firm based in the U.K. known for enhancing organizational effectiveness to improve student outcomes. He is responsible for developing Cambridge Education's U.S. practice portfolio and is a strategy advisor worldwide. He was formerly Associate Dean at Yale Law School and the University of Kentucky College of Law. He is the co-founder of Achievement First, the largest charter school organization in Connecticut and New York City. Mr. Stevens holds a B.A. in Communication Arts and a L.L.D. from Georgetown College, and a J.D. from the University of Kentucky. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
