Typically I review the porterhouse, and post every other Monday (still have not missed). This is an additional video on the Beefcase at Papi Steak, Miami. I was here in December when I reviewed their porterhouse. We saw the show that they put on at a different table for a few people that ordered the Wagyu Tomahawk. I fucking loved the Beefcase. It was $1000 which is obviously expensive but between the steak and the experience I’d say it was actually pretty worth it. I’d say it was a $400 steak and a $600 show… or a $500/$500 steak/show. Either way I would gladly go back and get that every time I go to Papi steak. The steak itself was amazing. Seasoned really well. And the Australian Wagyu, while not Japanese A5, struck a balance with the amount of fat that I’ve been looking for, for a while. Extremely flavorful, and the right about it richness. Great steak. I went 8.6 on the Beefcase. HUGE score. Only other thing I’d say is that my face was red as fuck because on the way down to Miami I was driving in the express lanes with the top off, and there was a star stopped pretty close to Miami blocking BOTH express lanes. So I was sitting there like a fucking asshole for 30 minutes in the blazing sun wearing nothing but a jersey (and shorts) just getting obliterated by the sun. Not to mention, I had to drive over the rubber pylons once I got to the front of the line… I WOULD HAVE JUST DRIVEN OVER THEM THREE MILES BACK IF I KNEW THAT WAS THE CASE. Whatever. 8.6, big time score, big times steak big time sunburn. Huge Kanye fan now too. Papi steak, Miami Beefcase, that’s your BONUS review.
