In this video, I discuss how to use call options for swing trading stocks. After a brief introduction, where I discuss basic options terminology (strike price, expiration, at the money, out of the money, in the money), I move on to how to swing trade a momentum stock like FSLY. When a stock's 50-day moving average is above its 200-day moving average, and when the stock itself is above both moving averages, it is a good candidate for an at-the-money or slightly out-of-the-money call option. I conclude the video by discussing the trade-offs surrounding picking an expiration date (closer expirations give you less time for the trade to play out, but higher returns on investment).
