I also liked the fact that it has a light on the plug-in port. This tool also has a nice feature to lookup DTC's (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) and a live DATASTREAM feature for several onboard monitors. I would recommend you carry a scan tool like this in your 1996 and newer vehicle especially when traveling far from home, or it's great to have with you when looking to buy a used car.
