Cheesy Garlic Butter Buns Ingredients: For the Bun: 2 cups maida (all-purpose flour) 2 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp milk powder 2 tsp instant yeast ½ tsp salt ⅔ cup warm water 4 tbsp butter For Garlic Butter: ½ cup melted butter 10 garlic pods, finely chopped 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves ½ tsp chilli flakes 1 tsp oregano For Filling: ½ cup cream cheese ½ cup mozzarella cheese Instructions: 1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, milk powder, yeast, salt, maida, and butter. 2. Knead the dough for 10–15 minutes until soft and smooth. 3. Cover and let it rest for 1 hour, or until it doubles in size. 4. Shape the dough into buns and place them on a greased baking tray. Let them rest for 10 minutes. 5. Brush with milk and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. 6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes. 7. Once baked, brush the buns with butter, cover with a damp cloth, and rest for 15 minutes. 8. Prepare the garlic butter by mixing melted butter, chopped garlic, coriander leaves, chilli flakes, and oregano. 9. Cut a cross (X shape) into the top of each bun and fill the cuts with cream cheese. 10. Spoon the garlic butter mixture into the cuts and top generously with mozzarella cheese. 11. Microwave for 1 minute until the cheese melts. Sprinkle with oregano and serve warm.
