Three Generations, One War: Voices from Inside Ukraine

Their story is one of fear, uncertainty, and displacement. But how is the war felt through three different generations? Hear three accounts — from a grandmother, a mother, and a son. Tetiana, her son Artem, and her mother Maria are an ordinary family from Kakhovka in the south of Ukraine who unexpectedly found themselves in the midst of the hostilities in early 2022. After months of uncertainty, several lengthy trips, and multiple cities and homes, they found themselves in the small town of Vyshneve, in the suburbs of Kyiv. Tetiana's son, Artem, who has special educational needs, has benefited from visiting a child-friendly space in Kyiv funded by Aktion Deutschland Hilft and operated by World Vision's local partner, Arms of Mercy.
