During this bicentennial roundtable discussion titled ""Harvard​ ​Law​ ​School​ ​and​ ​Civil​ ​Rights-Civil​ ​Liberties​ ​Lawyering:​ ​Examining​ ​the Past,​ ​Charting​ ​the​ ​Future,"" Harvard Law School Professors Ken Mack ’91 and Tomiko Brown-Nagin joined Panelists Raheemah Abdulaleem ’01, chair of KARAMAH: Muslim Women Lawyers for Human Rights; Associate Dean of IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law Felice Batlan ’90; Fordham Law Professor Jennifer Gordon ’92; Lenora M. Lapidus ‘90, director of ACLU’s Women’s Rights Project; James B. O’Neal ‘82, co-founder and executive director of Legal Outreach; and Dennis David Parker ‘80, director of ACLU’s Racial Justice Program, to discuss the contributions of Harvard Law School alumni to the creation and growth of the fields of civil liberties and civil rights lawyering, and the directions of the fields going forward.
