Well neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Rack 'em fits all ladder storage rack for enclosed trailers. Enclosed trailers are great for job sites or today we have one that's kind of converted to a camper and the great part is, is you can store everything inside, but the problem is it's putting ladders and things along those nature can take up a lot of space and that's where having a rooftop ladder storage means that you're gonna be able to open up real estate as to whatever you store up here. We have this in a pretty narrow setup for a solar panel setup that we're gonna be installing on here for ladders or anything else like that. This makes it to where you don't have to worry about that curved roof line. You'll have these bars in place and you can store whatever you need to. The rack is fairly universal in being able to adjust size. This will fit on most trailers that are gonna be four to eight and a half foot wide. The main thing is you wanna make sure that you have a rain gutter on the side and also as you're putting self-tapping screws in that it has something to bite into. The skin of a trailer is not gonna be strong enough to support this. And speaking of holding weight, this is gonna be pretty solid at 400 pounds for its weight capacity. So if you're loading up some ladders, this is gonna be a great option. Now these are made out of aluminum and that's really nice for installation's sake because it's pretty lightweight. Also, if this is gonna be stored outside, it's not gonna cause any issue for aluminum because it's gonna be rust proof. The same goes for all the hardware. Everything's set up for this to obviously live on the exterior of the camper and be able to be exposed to elements without any issue. It will come with four uprights and to crossbar, so it's gonna give you something similar to this. Obviously you can change the length or width as necessary for your trailer, but this is gonna be pretty common of what it'll look like. Now we did customize this one and that's totally allowed for this by trimming this down three inches. It was quite a bit taller before, but just to kind of bring this down and make sure that it's not sticking up too much, we went ahead and cut that. Now when it comes to cutting aluminum, a hacksaw works really well. You're gonna probably wanna file for this installation as well because not only did we trim here, but there's also a trim piece that will go as you extend that crossbar to fill that up, and you're gonna need to cut that. Now if you aren't trimming it and you just leave it at the factory height, this is going to be from the bottom of bracket to the top of the upright coming in at 22 inches. So it's fairly tall, but it's nice, it has these to rest your ladder. It's not gonna fall off the side, so it is fairly tall. Again, you can custom fit this to get it as clean as you want, and we could even drop this another inch and a half if we really wanted to. So it's really up to you. As far as the installation goes on this, it's super easy. It goes together really well and once you kind of get it, you know, mocked up, you can adjust that for the length to make sure that it fits on your trailer and then you'll just get this centered up and self tap that in. Something I might recommend is picking up some butyl tape and you can put that on these bottom brackets where you mount up and that way when you drill in, it's gonna press that butyl and create a nice watertight seal. That way you don't have any water trickling in where you've made those holes. Overall, this is a pretty no frills kit, but it is nice that it's all universal to really mount it up however you need on your trailer. And it's a super easy installation and a super quick way to add more real estate to your camper. And that was a look at the Rack 'em fits all ladder rack for enclosed trailers.
