The Oka is a river in the European part of Russia, the largest right tributary of the Volga. Length-1500 km The river originates from a spring in the village of Alexandrovka in the Glazunovsky district of the Oryol region at an altitude of a little more than 221 m above sea level. It passes through the Central Russian Upland, in the upper reaches it has a deeply cut, mostly narrow river valley with significant slopes. On the section from Serpukhov to Stupin, the border of the Moscow and Tula regions runs approximately along the Oka River. Near the city of Kolomna, it merges with the Moscow River and then, making a bend 10 km east of Lukhovits (at the confluence of the Tsna River), flows south-east to Ryazan.
