The Rhine falls (Rheinfall) are Europe’s highest river waterfalls and are only 10 minutes away from Marthalen. The Rhine falls are great, because you can take various boat rides to get very close to the waterfall. Then, there is also the village of Rheinau that charms with its beautiful monastery. The island with the monastery is a very serene spot, perfect for relaxation and picnics.
