خانه موتمن الاطبا، خانه‌ای زیبا و خاطره‌انگیز با معماری منحصربه‌فرد است که از اواخر دوره قاجار در میان محله عیان‌نشین عودلاجان باقی‌مانده است و در بسیاری از فیلم‌های سینمایی آن را دیده‌اید. محله عودلاجان میزبان خانه‌هایی بسیاری از این دست از جمله خانه موتمن الاطبا است؛ خانه‌ای در خیابان پامنار در کوچه‌ای به همین نام که متعلق به پزشک ناصرالدین شاه بوده است؛ خانه‌ای استثنایی در سه طبقه که در زمان خود، نادر و شاید جزو اولین خانه‌های چند طبقه تهران قدیم بوده است. این پزشک با نام میرزا زین‌العابدین خان دنبلی ضرابی ملقب به موتمن الاطبا، از پزشکان معروف آن دوران و اولین فارغ‌التحصیل مدرسه دارالفنون به حساب می‌آمد که زیر نظر دکتر تولوزان فرانسوی آموزش دیده بود. This physician, Mirza Zina al-Abidin Khan Danbali Zarrabi, nicknamed Motman al-Atba, was one of the most famous physicians of the time and the first graduate of the Dar al-Fonun school, trained under the supervision of Dr. Toulouse of France. خانه موتمن الاطبا در بخش مرکزی محله عودلاجان واقع شده است. خیابان پامنار که خانه موتمن الاطبا در آن قرار گرفته، روزگاری به واسطه ساکنان خود شاهد وقایع تاریخی و سیاسی مهمی بوده است. این خیابان در گذشته گذری در محله عودلاجان محسوب می‌شد. خیابان یا محله پامنار امروزی، در گذشته بازارچه‌ای بود که دروازه شمیران را به بازار اصلی مرتبط می‌کرد. این گذر خود دارای حمام، مسجد، کاروان‌سرا، آب‌انبار و تیمچه بود؛ اما بعدها با گسترش محلات در دوره قاجار و تعیین حصار دوم (حصار ناصری) توسعه یافت و به خیابان پامنار تبدیل شد و بسیاری از بناهای درون خیابان از بین رفت. این خیابان، ساکنان مشهوری همچون سید ابوالقاسم کاشانی و ابراهیم حاتمی کیا داشته است. This passage had its own bath, mosque, caravanserai, water storage and Timcheh; But later, with the expansion of neighborhoods in the Qajar period and the designation of the second fence (Naseri fence), it was developed and turned into Pamanar Street, and many buildings inside the street were destroyed. This street had famous residents such as Seyed Abolghasem Kashani and Ebrahim Hatami Kia.
