The Operators - a fm soundscape

Not so long ago I bought the Humble Audio Quad Operator. A while now I have tried to get to know it better, and have finally gotten a good feel for it and its inner workings. This is an amazing fm module with four operators in a free matrix setup. This setup frees you from the classic algorithms, and makes you able to simply go nuts west-coast style. The way I like it :) In this piece I use the Quad Operator as the sound source for everything. It starts by being filtered through the 4ms Spectral Multiband Resonator, and then gets to be the star and produce a longer soundscape. operator one later plays a sort of semi melody with a quantized Turing Machine as the melody maker. Though it might sound like a classic Mutable Instruments Clouds sound, its only produced by a short envelope by the Circuit Abbey's ADSRjr. A highly under rated envelope that can produce so short envelopes that you can barely hear the sound, to so long envelopes you couldn't be bothered waiting for the to close. But I digress. The "melody" is going through the Make Noise Mimeophone which I have just gotten. This is one of the best delays I have ever tested. Its actually more of an instrument then a delay. Even the "tape" artifacts is beautiful in this one.
