AIHA Members can find leadership opportunities with volunteer groups

The AIHA volunteer community is the lifeblood of the Association and the first line of defense in achieving our mission and vision. (To learn more, visit https://www.aiha.org/get-involved/vol...) We have over 50 technical and non-technical committees, advisory groups, and task forces. Collectively, we call these our Volunteer Groups. An example of a technical volunteer group is our Noise Committee or Indoor Environmental Quality Committee. An example of a non-technical committee is our Students & Early Career Professionals Committee or our Mentoring & Professional Development Committee. Within this structure, our volunteers work hand-in-hand to support such things as: o Development of new training materials o Networking and information exchange among members o Collaboration with other allied organizations As you get involved, you can establish yourself as a leader and become an officer of the group, starting with the secretary, and then moving along to vice-chair and chair.
