The People of reddit: A First Look (Original)

Main landing page: yticadu3.appspot.com This is the first installment of the documentary web-series, "The People of reddit." This series is designed to accompany and ramp up to the feature length reddit documentary that the production team of redditdoc is producing. Unlike the feature-length documentary, which fill focus on major stories from reddit and their ripple effect beyond just the community, in the web series we will focus on the most important component of reddit: its user base. We will be traveling the US interviewing redditors about their views and experience with reddit. We will also be interviewing major users and moderator teams. In this episode: We give you a taste of the great redditors of /r/neworleans as they describe reddit, their time spent on it, and its relevance to and beyond its user base. We also have clips from 2 amazing interviews with reddit general manager Erik Martin and reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. What to expect next time: We will be releasing the full-cut of the interviews with /r/neworleans that highlights their experience with reddit, some major stories that affected them, and how they utilize the site on a daily basis.
