First Impressions of Turkey 🇹🇷

After traveling late the night before to Turkey, I decided the best way to start getting to know Istanbul was by doing a walk around and getting some first impressions. I brought the camera along to share the experience with you as well. I immediately fell in love, as you can hear me say several times in the video, and I have said it many more times in the upcoming period (which you will see later on prolonged), as it's simply impressive. First, I started the walk close to Hagia Sophia, as my accommodation was close by. I made it also past the Blue Mosk although there was a sign saying only for prayer so I didn't go in. We also walk by Topkapi Palace and make our way through some of the beautiful Istanbul backstreets, in the search for a Doner Kebab. Instead of a doner, we find a delicious kebab, traditional to Turkey, with very friendly local owners.
