In this video, the third in the series on the Weimar Hyperinflation, we’re going to take a look at the effects of inflation in 1919, the election that took place, the revolutionary violence, and compare the beginnings of the inflation in Germany with those of other countries in Europe, such as Austria and Russia. We’re going to answer the question: was the Weimar Republic weak? And we’re also going to hear the story of how one man single-handedly saved Austria from a Bolshevik Revolution.
