Video ghi lại về ga Orchard là ga trung chuyển ngầm ở Singapore , trên các tuyến North South (line đỏ) và Thomson–East Coast (line nâu), Hệ thống đường sắt đô thị Hạng nặng (MRT) của Singapore. Nằm dọc theo Đại lộ Orchard và bên dưới TTTM ION Orchard, ga này nổi tiếng vì năm trên trục đường nhiều khu thương mại đắt đỏ và mua sắm sầm uất Orchard, bao gồm Liat Towers, Ngee Ann City , Wheelock Place, Wisma Atria, Shaw House ,... cùng nhiều TTTM khác. Ban đầu tên ga được công bố là Scotts, sau đó đổi tên thành Orchard Boulevard và sau đó là Orchard. Ga tàu điện ngầm này được đưa vào kế hoạch xây dựng ban đầu cho mạng lưới tàu điện ngầm MRT vào năm 1982 và được mở cửa như một phần của phần kéo dài của line đỏ đến ga Outram Park vào ngày 12/12/1987. According to Wikipedia, the Mass Rapid Transit, abbreviated and referred to in local parlance as the "MRT", is a heavy rail rapid transit system that constitutes the bulk of the railway network in Singapore, spanning—with the exception of the forested core and the island's rural northwest—the length and width of the city-state's main island. The first section of the MRT opened on 7 November 1987, and the network has since grown rapidly in accordance with Singapore's aim of developing a comprehensive rail network as the backbone of the country's public transportation system, with an average daily ridership of 3.384 million in 2019, approximately 83% of the bus network's 4.099 million in the same period. Orchard MRT station is an underground MRT interchange station in Singapore, on the North South (NSL) and Thomson–East Coast (TEL) lines. Situated along Orchard Boulevard and underneath ION Orchard, the station serves various commercial and retail developments of the Orchard Road shopping district, including Liat Towers, Ngee Ann City, Wheelock Place, Wisma Atria and Shaw House, among others. Initially announced as Scotts MRT station, it was renamed Orchard Boulevard and subsequently Orchard. The station was included in the early plans for the original MRT network in 1982, and opened as part of the NSL extension to Outram Park station on 12 December 1987. In August 2012, it was announced that Orchard station would serve as an interchange with the TEL. Initially expected to be completed in 2021, the TEL platforms opened on 13 November 2022 as part of TEL Stage 3.
