Making Recycled Paper... and Trying My DIY Deckle and Mould for the First Time!

Hi, my name is Cory and I am an artist who makes environmental and ecological inspired artwork. This video is just one part of my learning journey in making paper (grass paper actually). Although I've made grass paper successfully before, my goal is to make better and bigger paper! Here, I'm trying out my diy deckle and mould to make sure it actually works. Eventually it will be a key tool in a large grass paper making project (coming soon!), but as a test I decided to make some simple recycled paper. It was a lot of fun experimenting with recycled paper. I'm sure I'll be back exploring that soon enough, but coming next is a paper making project using dry, dead, end-of summer, autumn grass!
