In this video, I give a quick review of the Ruger American Ranch rifle. It is chambered in 5.56 Nato, and it accepts standard AR magazines. In the video, it does become apparent that this rifle has its "favorites" as far as how the various magazines feed. I received this rifle for my birthday and it is already becoming a favorite. Being chambered in 5.56 Nato, ammo is readily available and relatively cheap. The fact that Ruger made this utilitarian rifle to accept AR magazines, in my opinion, is a stroke of genius.
