This video will show you how to add and setup Dyno bot in your Discord server. When it comes to auto server moderation Dyno bot does a great job at keeping a server clean. Each moderation setting can be customised to meet the needs of the server. Auto moderation can block profanity, links, server invites, capitals, mentions and more. The punishments for breaking any rules can be customised through the Dyno dashboard, allowing you to increase the level of punishment based on severity. To use Dyno bot automod you will need to enable the module and set your custom preferences. The Dyno bot moderation settings allow you to customize how moderation and moderation commands work in your server. Mod settings allow you to set a moderator role, ignored channels, ignored roles, and auto punish options. Auto punishments will automatically apply a punishment to a user when they have received a selected number of warnings. Warnings are given by moderators using the warn command. Dyno auto punish options prevent server moderators from having to keep track of who is constantly breaking the Discord rules. Punishments can be setup to mute, kick and ban. Streamers can make use of the Twitch module to automatically post when they go live to their server. The Twitch module can also be used to receive notifications for other streamers that your members may be interested in. Dyno bot allows for the automatic message to be customised for each channel added. This allows each message to be unique and mention different people or roles if necessary. Reaction roles are popular in Discord servers, with different uses for them depending on the server. Typically verification, self assignable, and color roles are used. To setup Dyno bot verification roles you will need to have the bot set to only add a role. This will stop users from being able to add and remove the role. Self assignable roles allow a member to assign themselves multiple roles. These roles will customise the server to the members liking. Self roles are particularly useful in Discord servers with a lot of channels. For self assignable roles you will to set up Dyno bot to use the normal method. The normal reaction role method will allow members to receive and remove roles as they like. Color roles only allow a member to have one of the chosen roles. If they switch then the previous role will be removed. A color role is only cosmetic and will only change the color of the user’s name in your Discord server. Smaller Discord servers may choose to use the auto role feature in Dyno bot. With auto roles enabled a selected role will instantly be added to new users when they join your server. Dyno bot has an extensive list of commands that can be used. The more useful commands being the moderator commands. Moderator command can be used by server mods and admins to keep your server clean. Using Dyno bot commands moderators can mute or warn a user. Muting a user will prevent the member from sending messages in the server for a selected period of time. Once the time has passed the muted role will be removed, giving the member access to the Discord server again. Server warnings can be used when a member breaks a less severe rule. Dyno bot will count how many warnings each user receives, implementing custom punishments at specified numbers. For example you can set Dyno bot to mute a user when they have received 5 warnings. This will allow moderators to punish repeat offenders without having to track exactly what users are breaking the rules. When You add Dyno bot to your Discord server you will gain access to server logs. Logs will keep track of everything that happens in your server. With logs you can see what has been happening while you were offline, and even see what messages members have deleted. Moderators can use Dyno bot logs to see why members have been punished, and what every member is doing. Dyno bot logs are accessible directly in your server through log channels, or on the Dyno dashboard. Logs can be set to be shown in different server channels to organise the important events into one channel.
