It's fun to collect clay and make art out of it, that too in my backyard with zero expenses. Here's the detailed description ✅ Go out and find some sticky soil. This soil is then mixed with water and drained .The drained and filtered clay is kept in a cloth bag and hung for 1 week. Upon opening it we can see that we’ve got a block of fresh clay. You can be creative here and make shapes and designs of your choice. I used coil method to make the pot. once it's dried, polish it with a pebble or a spoon, to glaze it. The pieces are kept for drying in the sun for 1 day . It is then preheated to make sure that there is no moisture left. I have made a 0 cost backyard kiln which is a small pit and covered with coal or dried leaves, sticks etc. Pieces are kept in the pit which is then fired. It exploded after a while because, there was a bit of moisture still left behind. only the playbutton was saved . We learn from mistakes so let’s make better pieces next. This time let’s dry the pieces for 1 whole week. It is then fired and we’ve got beautiful unique pieces of art made from clay. Take a break and unwind with this calming ASMR nature video.
