The American has been inconsistent in 2024 but he’s still recorded a T6 among three top-20s in his last six starts. He also holds a course-record-tying 62 from the second round in 2022. FedExCup and World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler returns to action after his dramatic win at THE PLAYERS Championship two weeks ago. Scheffler has won two events in a row this season on the PGA TOUR (Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard prior to his triumph at TPC Sawgrass) and has not finished outside the top 20 in any event this season. He’s looking to become the first golfer to win three-straight events on the PGA TOUR since 2017. Wyndham Clark will also be teeing it up in Texas. The only golfer who has beaten him in his last two starts is the current World No. 1. Clark also won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am earlier in 2024 and claimed 16th at Memorial Park in 2022.
