「プラグ」と呼ばれるルアーを使って、岸から外洋の魚を狙う釣りを【プラッギング】と言います。 主に、水面から水面直下でルアーをアクションさせ、魚を刺激して誘い出して食わせるやり方です。 今回、釣具メーカーのシマノから新発売されるルアーの動画を見て、新しいプラグのメソッド「ノンストップジャーク」を石垣島で試したく島の南西部にある崎枝地区の石崎半島へ向かいました。 石崎半島は、保護海面水域な場所もあるので釣りをする際は確認が必要です。 でも、石垣島の中でも数少ない外洋に面した地磯になっていて、潮の流れも早く回遊魚が回ってきそうなポイントです。 今回、ポイントに着くとすでに100m位先の海上で鳥山が出来ていて、水面にもナブラが起きていました。 すかさずキャスト。 反応がエグいほどきます。 チェイスも毎投あり、非常に好活性です。 カツオとガーラ の群れが暴れている様です。 数投し、「ノンストップジャーク」を試します。 ルアーをキャストし、通常ならばワンピッチで竿を煽り、ルアーを一瞬止めて食わせの間を作るやり方をしますが、ノンストップジャークはルアーのアクションを止めずに連続で竿を煽り、パニック状態のベイトを演出します。 先ほどのアクションとはまた違った反応で、数匹の魚が奪い合う様にルアーを狙ってきます。 その時、ちょっとゆっくり目にアクションしたその瞬間、1番やる気のある魚がバイト。。。 今回試した「ノンストップジャーク」は沖縄の回遊魚にも有効だったと思います。 今回の大崎ではGTも狙える様なので、徐々にタックルを強化しいつかは挑んでみたいと思います。 Fishing that uses a lure called a "plug" to aim for fish in the open ocean from the shore is called "plugging."
