These items are the most common, and the most deadly. If we could eliminate just those two forms of plastic waste, entanglement cases would be slashed in half. Box straps already have biodegradable alternatives. Fishing line doesn’t. Yet. Until there’s a better solution, there’s one action anyone can take: skip the fish. Demand better.
