Moviebar Productions filmed with Oscar-winning director Chloé Zhao in Budapest for Blizzard's latest video game, Diablo IV, which was released in June. The launch live-action trailer was shot in Budapest with Moviebar. Chloé Zhao and Kiku Ohe co-directed the new horror trailer, capturing the ominous, cinematic essence of Diablo IV, plagued by conflict, fear and outright destruction. This marks a groundbreaking moment for Blizzard, as it is the first time in its history that they have created a live-action advertisement for a new game, bringing the animated characters to life in this captivating trailer. The shooting took place over 5 days at 10 different locations, featuring 12 main characters who embody the characters from the game. The unique locations perfectly reflected the dramatic atmosphere found within the game, including a sand quarry, a castle ruin, and a reservoir, which provided a mesmerizing backdrop for the visual world depicted in the film.
