Since establishing ties in 1973, the two countries have enjoyed close cooperation in almost all areas of economic, political, and social life. Showcasing the international flair and sharp eye of a veteran foreign affairs show producer, “Diplomat Talks: Na PD’s Diplomacy Journal” this week shows Na PD exploring the richness of Indonesian culture, from traditional clothing, dance to food. K-pop group Secret Number’s Dita also took part in the interview. Dita, who became the first K-pop girl group member from Indonesia, had a conversation with Na PD in Indonesian. Indonesian Ambassador to Korea, Gandi Sulistiyanto Soeherman said, “Korea has been successful in creating the Korean Wave,” emphasizing the importance of cultural cooperation and P2P exchanges. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of bilateral relations, we’ll explore the prospects for cooperation between the two countries.
