In today’s teaching of failed cards and mechanics, we’ll take a trip back to the Demise/Ruin archetype that came out in Cybernetic Horizon. The archetype was meant to pay homage to the original Demise and Ruin and was an attempt to fix the ongoing issues that Ritual mechanics had. What’s hilarious about this is that the original cards had better results than their retrain set and even saw competitive play. Ok, it was really just Demise running the gauntlet, but with how things panned out, any win is good, especially if it wins you top 16. Whether good or bad results, the monsters look pretty freaking awesome.
