Is The Door Zwolle The Netherlands a cult? (turn subtitles on)

Is The Door a cult? (Internationally also known as The Pottershouse) See if this 10-minute video makes more clear or not. (Turn automatic English subtitels on) This video states repeatedly that members should not allow negative words to be spoken about the church in their presence. If you listen to criticism as a member, then you limit yourself as God's channel, then God can no longer work through you (5:05) By 1:05 Nomdo Schuitema knows that The Door has no law or rule at all 1:30 “We don't speak opinions, we preach God's opinion” Is this indicating that what is being preached there is God's opinion? Is the Bible not interpretable? 1:50 “Everyone is free, no one is bound” When you come to faith in The Door, you are told that that church is the appointed place by God for you. If you walk away without good reason (you may open a new branch of the Door in another city), you are walking away from the Will of God. How free do you feel then to choose something else for yourself, because you may find that that suits you better? 5:20 In this sermon you hear that fortunately you are allowed to have an opinion. You are allowed to have an opinion about the temperature in the church (he calls this a “sound opinion”) You should have a firm opinion about people who criticize the church Between sentences, is this suggesting that anything outside of these opinions will not be tolerated? Or does it sound like there is plenty of room for that? Is this a clear example of a manipulative and closed faith community where criticism is not tolerated and where the leader presents his own words as coming directly from God? Is it true that this group presents itself as a Christian church, but in reality members are strongly influenced to uncritically follow the leadership? Is an enemy image created toward people who leave or criticize the church? Can you feel completely free in such a community, feel the freedom to say what you think? A few Bible texts: 1 John 4:1 - “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God; for many false prophets have gone out into the world.” → Is there encouragement here to look critically at spiritual leaders and not just accept everything? Matthew 7:15-16 - “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but are predatory wolves within. By their fruits you will know them.” → Is Jesus warning here about religious leaders who can be deceitful and that their actions and attitudes reveal their true nature? Isaiah 1:18 - “Come therefore, let us right together, saith the LORD.” → Is God here inviting people to engage in conversation together? Acts 17:11b - “...and they studied the scriptures daily, to see if what was said was indeed true.” → Does the Bible here praise people who think for themselves and test what they hear? Acts 17:11 - “The Jews there were more benevolent than those in Thessalonica; they accepted the message with great willingness and examined the scriptures daily to see if what was said was really true.” → Does the Bible here encourage us to think for ourselves, discourse and perhaps debate about particular interpretations of a passage of text? Isn't it actually healthy for a community to be open to feedback and see criticism as an opportunity to stay sharp? Meanwhile, The Door itself has removed this sermon from Youtube.
