Download Your Free Voice Handbook: https://berkonl.in/3wQXG4d Study Voice Online with Berklee: https://berkonl.in/3DEohWa In this video from Steven Kowalczyk Santoro’s Berklee Online course, Vocal Production Techniques for Singers, you’ll learn all the necessary basics of bouncing a track in a digital audio workstation (DAW). When you have recorded a track and are ready to bounce, the first thing you must do is check where your bounce is going to start. If you bounce stems with different starting points, you’ll have a harder time putting them together. Other things you should consider is whether to bounce to stereo or mono (for example, bass is usually bounced in mono, while guitar is bounced in stereo). Remember to name your stem files! This makes the job easier for yourself and anybody you might be collaborating with. If you bounce all the tracks starting from the same beat, then the collaborator will have no trouble organizing the session.
