There are two ways to help you downgrade iOS 18 to iOS 17. Before we dive into the downgrade process, there are a few things you should know. 1. Disable Find My iPhone: Go to Settings. Tap [Your Name] and Find My. Turn off Find My iPhone. 2. Check compatibility: Make sure that the version of iOS you want to downgrade to is compatible with your device model. For example, go to the ipsw.com, and there is no iOS 17 file for iPhone X. 3. Back up your device: Downgrading will erase the data on your device. It's essential to back up your iPhone to iCloud or computer to ensure that you downgrade from iOS 18 developer beta without losing data. Method 1. iTunes Our first method is to downgrade iOS 18 to iOS 17 with iTunes. You can use Finder if you are using a Mac with macOS Catalina or later. First, you'll need to get your hands on the iOS 17 IPSW file. Go to the ipsw.me website. Choose the "iPhone" photo and choose your iPhone model. Here, you can find the iOS 17 file and download it to your computer. Next, open the latest version of iTunes on your computer, and then connect your iPhone to the computer.
