The structure of DNA (nucleic ACID) is described in terms of primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary levels. Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is a polymer of repeating subunits called deoxyribonucleotides. In the polymer nucleotides are joined to one another by 3’, 5’-phosphodiester bonds.
