Minimum Digital Living Standard for Households with Children webinar | Good Things Foundation

The ‘Minimum Digital Living Standard for Households with Children’ research is a groundbreaking study to develop a measure, defined by members of the public, of what is ‘enough’ for a household to feel digitally included in today’s society. It is unique in combining what a household may need across: digital goods and services, practical skills, and skills for understanding and managing digital risk. Over 4 in 10 UK households with children fall below the standard. Poverty is a key driver behind this. Good Things Foundation was delighted to host this webinar on behalf of the MDLS team and funders. The webinar featured presentations by Prof. Simeon Yates (University of Liverpool), Dr. Chloe Blackwell and Katherine Hill (Loughborough University) and Dr Emma Stone (Good Things Foundation).
