This presentation focuses on providing platform engineering teams with capabilities they can leverage to provide services to other teams, and reduce the risk related to applications through a scalable approach throughout the entire SDLC. For the last five years, we have heard about the business importance of enabling development teams to deploy code in a continuous manner. And to follow a work philosophy of small, constant, incremental changes. However, organizations seem to be struggling to shift left security and make it part of their software development life cycle. In fact under 50% of highly mature organizations have fully shifted left to embed security throughout their CI/CD pipeline. Through this presentation, we will be describing how to approach security at scale, delivered by platform engineering, focusing on four main aspects of the SDLC: Design, Code, Build & Deploy and Monitor.
