Today, we're going to learn how to measure our hub base and our spring center for our 3.5k TK electric brake axle. The hub face is the total length between one hub face and the other. So we're going to go to the outermost edge of one hub where the tire and the wheel will sit flat and flush and we're going to measure to the other side at the same point, we have that measurement. We are now going to take a look at our spring centers. So we're going to go to one of the spring seats and go to the bolt hole in the middle of the bolt hole. We're going to start that measuring of that seat. Now we're going to go all the way across to the other side and measure in that same exact spot. And this will give us our spring seat measurement on our spring centers. These two measurements are crucial for any axle to be ordered because this lets us know the length of the axle itself and then where the trailer suspension will sit on that axle.
