The Elusive Universal Studios Ruby Pass

The "Ruby Pass" from Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida are single use "Express Passes" offered exclusively through Guest Services. On a recent trip we got stuck for over 16 minutes on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride. Our seats were canted severely to the side, there was only a prerecorded message playing to explain what was happening, and it was a bit unnerving for the kids. After about 10 minutes the overhead lighting system activated. Needless to say the "Magic" was gone after seeing "behind the scenes" of this ride. Ride attendants distributed single use Express Passes at the exit of the ride, but I informed them that we already had Express Passes, so these did us little to no good. The employee suggested we approach Guest Services and ask about "Ruby Passes." These Ruby Passes allow you to get to the front of any ride including the "Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure." This is a video log of our use of the "Ruby Pass" at Universal/ Islands of Adventure for the Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure.
