Eldritch Foundry Vs Hero Forge Who makes the better character maker for 3D prints

Today we are taking a look at two character makers for 3D printable characters for your table-top games, and collection. Hero Forge has been around for quite a while and they offer subscriptions, digital and physical and painted prints. The platform is easy to use, and it is loved by quite a few folks out there. Eldritch Foundry is a bit newer to the market but they seem to know a thing or two about characters and give you tons of great options to pick from. So, which one is best? Hero Forge: Pros: Easy to use Lots of options Fairly inexpensive to purchase STL files Cons: No Mounts on XL or bigger characters Low Poly counts on STL files Meshes often colide with each other causing all sorts of odd looking things, causing you to have to ensure the model is 100% perfect before purchasing Base options are limited Prices for physical prints are a little high for a 32mm or game table sized mini Physical prints are printed @ 50um or 100um (microns) would love to see this at 30um especially for tiny minis with tiny details Eldritch Foundry: Pros: Easy to use Lots of options (seeming to have some options that Hero Forge does not have) Cheaper than Hero Forge to purchase STL files Unlimited downloads with paid plan Physical prints are printed @ 30um (microns instead of Hero Forge's 50 and 100) Cons: Locked items that don't allow STL downloads Low Poly counts on STL files No hollowing ability on most objects - so scaling is limited unless you want a solid giant figure Meshes often colide with each other causing all sorts of odd looking things, causing you to have to ensure the model is 100% perfect before purchasing No mounts Physical files are also a bit pricey @ $25 and $55 for double-sized.
