THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE Lot Fourteen in Adelaide is home to the Australian Space Agency. It’s also the site for the Bureau of Meteorology’s Australian Space Weather Forecasting Centre, which launched today. Nat spoke to Environment and Water Minister Tanya Plibersek about what the centre is all about. SPACE WEATHER We wanted to find out what space weather actually is and how it affects us here of Earth. So, Cale caught up with Kate from the Bureau of Meteorology. SPACEX LAUNCH In some other big space news today, SpaceX's historic Crew 5 Mission has launched and is on its way to the International Space Station (ISS). The mission is being led by astronaut Nicole Mann, the first Indigenous woman to be sent into orbit by NASA. The journey to the ISS will take around 29 hours, but they'll have a pretty good view on the way! SPACE BUSINESS 19-year-old Edward has started his own space business.
